In an interview on NBC10 in Philadelphia, FactCheck.org Director Eugene Kiely talks about our partnership with NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations, a division of NBCUniversal, to produce fact-checking segments in 2017 for NBC Owned Television Stations and NBC affiliate stations.
FactCheck.org and NBCUniversal worked together in the fall of 2012 and 2016 during the presidential campaigns. But this is the first year that the two news organizations will continue fact-checking in a non-election year.
Kiely also discusses our work fact-checking President Obama, the 2016 presidential campaign, and fake news, as well as what fact-checking issues we expect to tackle in 2017. The interview with NBC10’s Erin Coleman aired Jan. 22 on @Issue, a public affairs program.
