*NOTICE: FactCheck.org Will Continue After Election*

Our post-election plans: Regroup, redesign, refocus. We'll improve our coverage for 2005 and beyond.

Summary

Many of our visitors have asked “what will happen to FactCheck.org after the election?” And now we have an answer.

We’re going to continue, though at a reduced pace for a while.

Expect no more than about one article per week for now, while we focus our efforts on re-thinking what our Web site should look like, how it might be better organized and how we can improve our efforts to serve as a consumer advocate for voters.

If history is any guide, there will be plenty of distortions and falsehoods to expose even in a non-election year, and we intend to monitor and report on the major factual claims being made from Washington through the remainder of 2004, and into 2005 and beyond.  Watch the “announcements” section on the home page for updates.
