Summary
Many of our visitors have asked “what will happen to FactCheck.org after the election?” And now we have an answer.
We’re going to continue, though at a reduced pace for a while.
Expect no more than about one article per week for now, while we focus our efforts on re-thinking what our Web site should look like, how it might be better organized and how we can improve our efforts to serve as a consumer advocate for voters.
If history is any guide, there will be plenty of distortions and falsehoods to expose even in a non-election year, and we intend to monitor and report on the major factual claims being made from Washington through the remainder of 2004, and into 2005 and beyond.
