Safety & Affordability PAC Inc.

Political leanings: Republican

2024 total spending: N/A

Safety and Affordability PAC Inc. is a super PAC that was established in early September. It is another Republican political action committee affiliated with President Donald Trump.

Its Federal Election Commission filings show that the super PAC has the same treasurer, Charles Gantt, as No Going Back PAC Inc., another Trump-aligned super PAC that was created in September. And both No Going Back PAC and Safety and Affordability PAC have received almost all of their funding from MAGA Inc., a super PAC originally formed during the 2022 midterm elections to support Trump-approved candidates.

As of Oct. 14, Safety and Affordability PAC, which can raise unlimited funds from individuals and other donors, reported receiving nearly $25.1 million for the 2026 midterms, with $25 million of that coming from MAGA Inc. By that same date, according to its pre-general election FEC filing, it had spent $16.2 million on ads and other communications that are formally called independent expenditures. Those expenditures can be for or against candidates for federal office.

But its ad spending appears to have increased, as AdImpact’s political advertising database shows that Safety and Affordability PAC spent or reserved close to $57 million in ads, as of Oct. 26. The group is focusing on House races across the country, as Republicans need to hold onto at least 218 seats to retain majority control.

Several of the races on which the group has reportedly spent the most money – such as in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District and Michigan’s 7th Congressional District – are for seats currently held by Republicans. But those races have been rated by the Cook Political Report as toss-ups or contests leaning toward Democrats.
